Breast Lift + Implants
Many women, especially after having kids or reaching middle age, no longer like both the shape and size of their breasts. Breast sagging and tissue loss can leave you with a “deflated” look that can lead to self consciousness and not feeling your best when wearing bras and swimsuits.
Thankfully, our board-certified plastic surgeons perform a combined breast enhancement procedure that includes both a breast lift and breast augmentation/implants to create full, perky-looking breasts and restore confidence.
Our plastic surgeons are leaders in natural-looking breast enhancement surgery, including combined breast lift/augmentation surgery. Together they’ve performed well over 2,000 breast lift/augmentation surgeries with beautiful results.
We invite you to see for yourself why so many women like you have chosen The Natural Result / Center for Aesthetic Artistry for a combined breast lift + augmentation.

Best Candidates for Breast Lift + Implants
A breast lift by itself addresses skin sagging and breast tissue drooping that often occurs because of pregnancy, age or genetics. By adding in breast augmentation, this combined procedure also addresses breast volume, making it a great option for women who were never quite happy with their breast size or those who have lost breast volume over time.
Ideal candidates for combined breast lift and augmentation surgery will be in good general health but would like to improve the shape, size, and position of their breasts. As part of this procedure, our surgeons can also reduce areola size and/or correct nipples that point downward. Many women find this combined procedure to be a perfect part of their mommy makeover after they are finished having children.
A breast lift combined with breast implants, also known as mastopexy augmentation, can:
- Elevate and reshape sagging breasts
- Add breast volume/increase bra size
- Reposition nipples to a more youthful, natural placement
- Reduce the size of enlarged areolas (the circle of darker skin around the nipple)
Request Your Consult
Your Consult
Before your breast enhancement surgery, you’ll schedule a consultation at our office. In this visit, we’ll carefully review your needs and expectations. The consultation is an opportunity to specify your goals for treatment, in addition to discussing any other procedures in combination with your breast lift and implant surgery.
During your consultation, your surgeon will listen to your concerns and evaluate variables such as your skin elasticity and breast size that may affect your final results. They will then discuss the best surgical techniques to achieve your goals and what you can expect from surgery including the location of your incisions and the new position of your breasts and areolas.
At The Natural Result / Center for Aesthetic Artistry, we tailor incisions and techniques for each patient, depending on your existing anatomy and your goal for your new look.
Preparing for Your Breast Lift + Augmentation
A typical combined breast lift and augmentation takes no longer than 3 hours, though the total time will depend on whether additional body contouring or facial rejuvenation procedures are done in conjunction with the surgery. You can plan on going home on the day of your surgery, since all breast lift + implant procedures we perform are completed in our on-site surgical suite on an outpatient basis.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I know which breast enhancement procedure is right for me?Many women aren't sure whether they need a breast lift if they are thinking about increasing their breast volume through augmentation. As a general rule, if your nipples point down, or if they sit below your breast fold, you more than likely need a breast lift so that your implants sit properly.
-
Should I wait until after I have kids to have this surgery? It's usually best to have this procedure after your last pregnancy, since additional pregnancies may change the shape and position of your breasts. The surgery also may impact your ability to nurse.
-
Will I have scars after a breast lift + implants? All surgery creates scarring. That said, with proper scar care, the scars should fade to be very faint and unnoticeable. Incisions are placed around the areola and down toward/into the breast crease.
-
How long can I expect my new look to last? This surgery won't stop the natural aging process and your breasts will still be impacted by gravity over time. However, with proper care, minimal weight fluctuations, and no additional pregnancies, our patients can enjoy their new look for 10-15 years before a revision procedure may be required.
-
Can you breastfeed after a breast lift with augmentation? You are more than likely able to breastfeed after this surgery, but the procedure may lead to an inability to breastfeed. If this is a concern we encourage you to talk with your surgeon beforehand.
-
Can I reduce my areola size as part of this surgery?Absolutely, it is common for our surgeons to reduce areola size as part of this surgery so that your breasts have a more youthful appearance.
Recovery & Results
Recovery from combined breast lift and augmentation surgery generally requires several days of downtime in addition to a week of reduced activity. Ice packs and/or pain medications can help to alleviate any discomfort you may experience. You’ll be able to resume your normal routine gradually. Although your recovery time will be unique to your surgery, many of our patients are able to return to work within a few days after surgery and resume physical activity within a month.
Your full results will become evident over the course of several months as the shape and position of your breasts continues to become more refined. Full healing will reveal a shapelier, more youthful figure with firmer, uplifted breasts and increased volume.
This type of breast enhancement surgery can provide long-lasting results. However, variables such as weight fluctuation and aging can cause your breast appearance to change over time. To support your results, be sure you are maintaining a healthy diet and exercising.
