Our Breast Implant Philosophy
Our plastic surgeons think about breast augmentation a little differently than many other surgeons in Sacramento and across the country. Yes, we love to help our patients achieve beautiful results. Yes, we enjoy the technical aspects of surgery.
But after performing breast augmentation for thousands of women, we’ve learned that the happiest patients aren’t necessarily those with the biggest implants or the most dramatic transformations.
They’re the patients whose surgery was thoughtfully planned, carefully performed, and designed especially for them. Our philosophy comes down to a few simple principles.
Natural Always Wins
Fashion changes. Social media trends change. Our tastes change over time. But natural beauty never goes out of style.
Our goal is not to create breasts that attract attention. Our goal is to create breasts that look like they have always belonged on your body. When someone tells you that you look healthy, confident, or simply “great,” without realizing exactly why – that’s often the best compliment of all.
The Right Implant Is Better Than the Biggest Implant
One of the biggest misconceptions in breast augmentation is that larger implants produce better results. In reality, every woman has an ideal implant for her anatomy.
Choosing an implant that respects your breast width, skin quality, tissue thickness, and long-term goals almost always produces a more beautiful and durable result than simply choosing the largest implant that will fit.
The best implant isn’t the biggest one – it’s the one that’s right for you.
Your Anatomy Should Drive the Plan
Every woman is unique. Your chest wall, breast tissue, skin elasticity, lifestyle, athletic activity, and future plans all influence the decisions we make together.
That’s why there is no universal “best” implant. There is only the implant – and the operation – that best matches your anatomy.
At The Natural Result, breast implant surgeries are designed around you, never the other way around.
Long-Term Results Matter More Than Short-Term Excitement
A breast augmentation isn’t just about how you look six weeks after surgery. It’s about how you’ll look and feel five, ten, fifteen, or even twenty years from now.
Every surgical recommendation we make is filtered through one question: Will this still be the right decision years from now?
- Sometimes that means recommending a smaller implant.
- Sometimes it means suggesting an internal bra.
- Sometimes it means recommending a breast lift.
- Sometimes it means recommending that we wait.
The right long-term decision isn’t always the easiest one in the moment.

This 23-year-old woman from Sacramento, California, is 5'3" and approximately 135 pounds. She underwent breast augmentation with 415 cc high-profile silicone gel implants placed below the muscle through an inframammary fold (IMF) incision.
Her result demonstrates beautiful symmetry and balance, with attractive upper-pole fullness complemented by proportional volume in the lower breast. Despite the high-profile implants, the overall appearance remains natural and well suited to her frame.
This is an excellent example of what we consider a natural breast augmentation result—full and shapely without looking artificial. In fact, this is the type of result patients frequently bring to consultation as an inspiration photo for their own surgery.

This 27-year-old woman from Sacramento, California, is 5'8" and approximately 165 pounds. She presented with significant breast asymmetry, including differences in breast size and shape, in addition to enlarged areolas.
She underwent a breast lift with implants, also known as a mastopexy augmentation. Silicone gel implants were placed below the muscle, using a 355 cc moderate-profile implant on the left and a 505 cc high-profile implant on the right to address her pre-existing asymmetry.
Her result demonstrates significantly improved breast symmetry with volume that is nicely proportioned to her frame. She has an attractive balance of upper- and lower-pole fullness and a much more harmonious breast shape.
An Educated Patient Makes Better Decisions
We believe education is one of the most important parts of good surgical care. A consultation should never feel like a sales presentation. It should feel like a conversation.
As skilled and trusted plastic surgeons, we have a responsibility beyond simply performing an operation. We explain your options, answer your questions honestly, discuss both the advantages and the limitations, and help you make a decision that feels right for you.
When our patients understand the “why” behind each recommendation, they make better decisions – and they enjoy their results even more.
Partnership Matters
The best breast augmentations are not created by a surgeon alone. They are created through a partnership.
- You bring your goals, your concerns, your priorities, and your vision.
- We bring experience, judgment, technical skill, and honest advice.
- Together, we develop a plan that fits your body and your life.
The partnership we form doesn’t end on the day of surgery – it continues through your recovery and for years afterward.
A Final Thought
Our goal on our website, social media, and in our office is to help you understand breast augmentation well enough to decide whether it’s right for you.
If the answer is yes, I hope you’ll move forward with confidence, realistic expectations, and excitement about what’s possible.
If the answer is no, that’s perfectly okay too.
Whether or not you ever become a patient at The Natural Result, we hope this guide has given you the knowledge to make an informed decision and the confidence to know you’re making it for the right reasons.
